ABOUT THE FOUNDER
K. P. Shanika Anjali
Media Educator & Founder, Media Literacy Lab
Media Literacy Lab was created to make media literacy clear, practical, and accessible— helping learners ask better questions, evaluate information, and navigate the digital world with greater confidence.
Shanika is a Sri Lankan secondary-school teacher and Media Studies educator. She holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communication and has been a registered teacher since 2016, with teaching experience across school subjects and a sustained focus on Media Studies at O/L and A/L levels.
Through Media Literacy Lab, she aims to make media and information literacy accessible through clear explanations, classroom activities, educational resources, and discussion of emerging digital technologies.
